Hayley Fawcett
Hi there! My name is Hayley, and I’ve travelled all the way from South Africa to be at your service. After years of studying in a science laboratory and staring very intensely at things until my eyes went dry, I decided it was time to scratch my adventurous itch and trade lab coats for life at sea.
Fast forward three years, and I’ve cruised on superyachts ranging from a humble 60ft to a not-so-humble 230ft. Along the way, I’ve found myself island-hopping through the Caribbean, soaking up the Mediterranean, and dreaming of one day adding Antarctica to the list.
Being far from what’s familiar can be challenging at times, but yachting has well and truly awakened my inner child. It’s given me the chance to see and try things I could never fully explain to my friends and family back home—mostly because of NDAs.
Life on board has also allowed me to flex all sides of myself: from my love of admin, to my need for speed, to my passion for art and design. Variety really is the spice of yacht life.
