Miko Honkonen
Hi, I’m Miko Honkanen — a Deckhand at The Lux Yachts and a versatile all-rounder both at sea and in the shipyard.
My journey into yachting began through hands-on work with watercraft — starting with jet skis, moving on to boats, and eventually to yachts. For nearly four years, I’ve worked across both summer and winter seasons, gaining valuable experience in demanding environments where precision, reliability, and teamwork matter most.
At The Lux Yachts, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of Finland’s most skilled and dedicated professionals. The team has become like family, and I take great pride in being part of a crew that delivers exceptional quality — whether it’s peak summer cruising in the Nordics, high-heat charter days in Croatia, or early mornings at the yard ensuring every detail is flawless.
I thrive in a role where every day brings something new. From guest operations to technical upkeep, I’m here to make sure each journey is smooth, safe, and finished to the highest standard.
Outside of work, I enjoy training, watersports, great food, and spending time with friends. I look forward to welcoming you on board — and hopefully seeing you out on the water soon.
